PCD and ADF open their doors in Paris today!
The two-day events, held in tandem in Paris, are clearly growing in size as they prepare to host 350 exhibitors from the packaging market, representing a 20% compared to last year.
The organisers say they expect more the 5,800 visitors from 70 countries representing leading international brands in the cosmetics industry (for PCD), and pharmaceutical, household products and decoration, industrial and food sectors (for ADF).
PCD focus
At the PCD event, which is the 12th edition of the show, there will be a conference programme dedicated to packaging creativity in the make-up, skin care and perfume markets from leading experts, taking place over the two days.
PCD will also reward innovations and new applications for cosmetics during a ceremony chaired by Philippe Thuvien, Packaging and Development Director at L’Oréal tomorrow (February 4th) at 2.15. pm.
The Awards are designed to single out the ‘Packaging innovations’ and ‘Formulation - Packaging compatibility’, and judge product that are placed on the European market between the 1st January 2016 and the 31st December 2016.
The prizes are awarded by an independent Jury comprising Journalists and Packaging experts in the perfumes and cosmetics field.
ADF returns
In similar fashion, the 10th edition of ADF also features a two-day programme at Espace Champerret, focusing on the highlights of the aerosol and dispensing market.
It too, will have an ADF Awards Ceremony, which is held today (Wednesday 3th February) at 4:45 pm, where Aerosol and Dispensing Innovations are rewarded.
Once again, both events are held at Espace Champerret, Paris, at the same time in order to boost innovation and transfers of technology.
