Vetroplas to distribute Rexam Foam dispensers in UK and Ireland
Rexam Foam was previously known as Airspray before it was acquired by Rexam in 2006, and its portfolio includes non-aerosol foam pump dispensers, dual chamber dispensers, air-powered spray dispensers and lotion dispensers.
“[Rexam] have an excellent range of instant foam dispensers that are cutting-edge, computer engineered mechanisms that all work without gas propellants to transform liquid into foam with a single actuation,” commented Vetroplas managing director John Anderton.
Established market position of Vetroplas
The director of client services for EMEA at Rexam Foam, Jeroen Koolhaas said that Vetroplas was an ideal distribution partner due to its established market position, experienced sales team and prior involvement with foam dispensing products.
“I feel confident Vetroplas will add significant value to our sales effort in the UK and Ireland,” he said.
Rexam Foam is the latest distribution agreement Vetroplas has entered into, and the company distributes a range of cosmetics and personal care packaging products from manufacturers including Megaplast and CTL Packaging.
Earlier this year, Vetroplas announced two new partnerships, one with France-based Lapac, a manufacturer of deodorant sticks and massage head roll-on containers and the other with German pharmaceutical packaging company SLG.
Distribution partnerships
According to Anderton, the agreements form part of a strategy to establish partnerships with companies outside the UK.
“When we set up Vetroplas our aim was to carefully select partners from outside the UK and, where possible, from Western Europe who had attractive, good quality packaging, coupled with style, flair and innovation,” he said.
