Discover the microbiome first-hand: testing opportunity at in-cosmetics Formulation Summit!

In collaboration with Solabia​, French chemicals group, the Formulation Summit will be assessing the skin of a group of delegates, and will reveal the collective results live.

According to Barbara Brockway, director of personal care at Applied DNA Sciences and one of the lead organisers of the upcoming in-cosmetics event, delegates need not worry that any personal information will be revealed - the results will come as a collective dataset.

“We won't be singling out any individuals - we’ll feedback in general terms,​” Brockway explains. “But individually, you will receive a personal reading for your own information.​”

The Formulation Summit takes place in London, 25th & 26th October.

Interactive and explorative​

Brockway explains that this is just one of the interactive features set to bring the Formulation Summit to life: with the help of a system called ‘Slido’, the Summit will be offering delegates the opportunity to interact digitally throughout the two day event using their smartphones.

The programme lead explains that the team behind the Summit describe this kind of interactivity best with the term ‘infotainment’ - information entertainment. .

The Summit’s programme covers an array of topics and trends under the umbrella of ‘Biotransformation beauty’, from fermentation techniques, to the microbiome, to the potential of Artificial Intelligence and more, and is described by Brockway as a ‘cutting edge’ event for formulators within the industry.
