Personal care major Beiersdorf is rolling out climate-friendly valves and post-consumer recycled (PCR) aluminium cans across its core Nivea aerosol ranges, supporting a significant reduction in overall environmental footprint.
International personal care major Procter & Gamble (P&G) has published a climate transition plan outlining its ambition to be net zero on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2040 and signed up to Amazon co-founded The Climate Pledge.
Urgent action is needed to lower a global temperature rise in excess of 3°C by the end of this century, and United Nation leaders say COVID-19 recovery packages could offer a beacon of hope.
