Fragrance player Inter Parfums has posted a big hike in its first quarter sales on the back of a particularly strong performance in the European market, as the door is finally closed on the Burberry licensing agreement.
Inter Parfums has reported that in its first quarter ending March
31, net earnings dropped nearly 8 per cent following increased
expenditures relating to both royalties and marketing, reports
Simon Pitman.
Burberry, the UK fashion house, announced last week a 14 per cent
rise in underlying first-half sales, bolstered by strong retail
expansion and the launch of its Burberry Brit men's fragrance.
