First in-cosmetics Brasil event opens its doors today
The in-cosmetics team is adding to its portfolio a fourth event that will open its door for two days in Sao Paulo, today.

Reed Exhibitions launched the in-cosmetics event in Europe over twenty years ago, and has subsequently added other events in Thailand, Korea, and most recently the in-cosmetics Brasil event.

The launch of the Brasil event focuses in on one of the fastest growing markets in the world, and by far the largest market for cosmetics in the Latin America region.

Indeed Sao Paulo is very much the industry hub for the cosmetics segment in Brazil, which is currently rated as the 15th largest cosmetics market in the world, according to market researcher Euromonitor.

Full conference and workshop program

The event will take place at the World Trade Center in Sao Paulo and will include a full program of conferences and workshop, alongside the free to enter exhibition that will include around 180 exhibitors.

The workshop programs will run from 8:30 to 13.00 on both days, whereas the conference programs will run from 13:00 to 20:30.

Run by the Institute of Technology and Studies of Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance, the workshops will touch on subjects including innovation, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and sensory attributes, as well as the specifics of the Brazil market, including importing of ingredients, key trends and regulatory issues.

The conference seminars will be run in two tracks over the two days, to include more than 30 product presentations from players such as Croda, Merck, Lipotec, Sensient, Kobo, BASF, Dow Corning and Evonik.

Look out for the Cosmetics Design team!

The event will also be the first that the Cosmetics Design team will attend in Latin America, marking a new focus on this important market, and representing the opportunity for us to get closer to industry players, both in Brazil and throughout the region.

The editorial team will be walking the aisles at the event, billed as the first show in Latin America that is dedicated exclusively to the personal care ingredients segment.

This will mean coverage focused on who attended the show, what kind of ingredients solutions were being promoted, as well as drilling down on the key trends that are driving the ingredients segment in the region right now.
