SymReboot™ L19: probiotics-based skin care ingredient

SymReboot™ L19 opens up new horizons for cosmetics manufacturers on skin care products with probiotic-based ingredients. Symrise researchers have succeeded in maintaining the bacterial structure throughout the manufacturing process and thus preserving important benefits for the skin.

It takes full effect also in creams and lotions that contain ingredients to protect the product. The skin cells recognize the cell-wall or metabolites of the mildly heat-treated microorganisms, thus activating the skin’s natural defense mechanisms and thereby soothing the skin and strengthening the skin barrier.
