Vichy debuts longevity-focused skincare and haircare

Here, the derma skin care brand also debuted its two new science-led products based around longevity-beauty.

A face cream, Neovadiol Longevity Revolumizing Cream, which increases youthful skin tissue by 31% and restores up to 42% of skin volume. This was developed through over 20 years of research and 100+ scientific studies by Vichy and L’Oréal Research & Innovation.

A scalp treatment for hair loss, Dercos Aminexil Clinical REGEN Booster, a serum clinically shown to add 14,000 hairs in 12 weeks. Vichy said it is formulated with breakthrough technology that works to stop hair loss and stimulate growth thanks to the Aminexil Longevity Actives Complex.

According to the brand, hair loss is now the second most common concern among dermatology patients worldwide, and the Dercos REGEN Booster promotes an average of 167 new hairs per day.

These products mark a shift in how Vichy approaches ageing – as part of a bigger move toward “skin and hair longevity,” with formulas rooted in dermatology, stem cell science, and years of clinical testing.

Longevity as the future of beauty & derma-cosmetics

To find out more, we spoke to Vincent Chauvière, global brand president, Vichy Laboratoires, about the brand’s long-term strategy and why it is investing in longevity science.

Cosmetics Design-Europe (CDE): Can you tell me more about Vichy’s new longevity launches please?

Vincent Chauvière (VC): At Vichy, we firmly believe that beauty begins with the health of your skin. Our new longevity science isn’t just an evolution, it opens an entirely new era of efficacy, powerfully boosting both skin and scalp health.

We are excited to introduce two breakthrough longevity innovations: one for skincare, and one for haircare.

In skincare, it’s the Neovadiol Longevity Revolumizing Cream, specifically dedicated to the Boomer generation. After 60, skin’s ability to recreate youthful tissue significantly declines. Our new cream, the result of 20 years of research and over 100 scientific studies, is clinically proven to supercharge that ability, delivering a +31% increase in new youthful tissue and regenerating up to 42% of skin volume. It’s a true revolution for mature skin.

But longevity science isn’t confined to skincare alone. Hair longevity science marks a new chapter for us in haircare. Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp – and the scalp, after all, is skin. Our new Dercos REGEN Booster is a new paradigm in anti-hair loss treatments. It works directly at the bulb level, not only halting hair loss but actively stimulating new growth. The results are impressive: +14,000 hairs after just 12 weeks of usage.

CDE: What kinds of ingredients and technology have you used in these products?

VC: In the Dercos REGEN Booster, we’ve packed a potent, next-generation 4.5% Aminexil Longevity Technology. This isn’t just one ingredient, it’s a dynamic trio designed to activate hair regeneration from the inside out. Aminexil directly combats collagen rigidification around the hair follicle to stop hair loss, while a powerful blend of NAD+ Booster and Ginger Root stimulates stem cells and fuels vital energy production within the hair bulb for new hair growth. Together, they create the optimal environment for truly resilient hair.

And at the heart of our Neovadiol Longevity Revolumizing Cream, the patent-pending Longevisia Technology features its own powerful trio. Proxylane is key to reinforcing skin structure, boosting collagen and elastin production. The NAD+ Booster works to repair cellular DNA and ignite energy production within skin cells. Finally, Senevisium, a groundbreaking active derived from Ginkgo Biloba, specifically targets and revitalises ageing “zombie cells”, restoring epidermal vitality.

CDE: How long have you been working on them?

VC: Efficacy is our R&I team’s obsession. The Neovadiol’s Longevisia Technology, for instance, represents a 20-year scientific marathon, backed by over 100 studies. We meticulously designed it using our Longevity Wheel to target specific hallmarks of skin ageing. It was a challenge, but the result is science-backed solutions for our consumers.

For the Dercos Booster, it’s also the result of over 20 years of research and testing more than 2,000 actives. We conducted rigorous clinical studies, requiring five applications a week for 12 weeks. In today’s market, finding a treatment that’s both powerfully effective and gentle enough for daily use is rare – yet we achieved it. The formula is light, non-greasy, and incredibly pleasant. This led to phenomenal compliance, and 100% of patients in our studies responded positively. That’s a testament to its innovation and kindness to the scalp.

CDE: Why has Vichy decided to innovate in the longevity space?

VC: Our founder, Dr Haller, pioneered dermocosmetics in 1931, anchoring beauty in health and dermatology. We honour that legacy by innovating where it matters most. Longevity science is the future of beauty. People are living longer, healthier lives, and that demands a shift. We’re moving beyond “anti-ageing” to embrace “healthy ageing”, empowering individuals to look and feel their best at every single stage.

CDE: Is this an area of focus for the future? If so, can you tell us any more about this and what is coming next?

VC: Longevity science isn’t just a focus; it’s the future of Vichy. We are trailblazing this space, committed to rethinking beauty through integrative health, cutting-edge science, and holistic wellbeing.

Our Liftactiv Collagen 16 line, already a huge success, demonstrated our expertise in boosting cellular collagen. Building on that, we’re actively exploring new categories of products, developing 360° approaches that seamlessly blend skincare, nutrition, and lifestyle. It’s a strong leap into integrative health, offering beauty from within. There is much more on the horizon. We’re just getting started in pushing the boundaries of longevity in beauty!

CDE: Anything else to add on the topic of dermacosmetics or longevity science?

VC: Vichy is now the second most recommended brand by dermatologists worldwide. And our Dercos hair care franchise is the number one dermatologist-recommended brand globally. That’s a source of immense pride.

But equally vital is our direct connection with consumers. Through advocacy and social platforms, we’ve built a vibrant community, generating over 8 billion views on Vichy-related content online – and we’re targeting 10 billion by year-end! Collaborating with trusted experts like our ambassador Jessie Inchauspé (@GlucoseGoddess) allows us to democratise longevity science, making it accessible and truly relatable. The fusion of scientific credibility and cultural relevance is what will define this new era of longevity for all.
