You are making some impressive claims with this product. Can you tell us more about the clinical trials you have undertaken?
The Epigen12 clinical trial was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study conducted in Swiss and Italian university hospitals to assess the supplement’s impact on biological aging and overall wellbeing.
The study included 81 individuals aged 45 to 65, a demographic particularly susceptible to aging due to work-related stress. Participants were randomly assigned to either the intervention group (Epigen12 daily) or the placebo group for 12 weeks.
The key measurements were:
- Biological age reduction: Measured via DNA methylation age (DNAmAge) analysis using pyrosequencing of key aging-associated genes.
- Telomere preservation: Leukocyte Telomere Length (LTL) measured using qPCR.
- Mitochondrial function: Mitochondrial DNA copy number (mtDNAcn) measured via digital PCR (dPCR).
- Cortisol levels: Salivary cortisol to assess stress reduction.
- Sleep and physical activity: Measured via wearable MiBand 7 devices tracking heart rate, movement, sleep duration and quality.
- Quality of life (QOL): Assessed using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire covering physical, psychological and social well-being.
The key findings were that Epigen12 significantly prevented biological age progression—reducing epigenetic aging by up to 12 years compared to the placebo group.
It also protected telomere length, mitigating cellular aging. It enhanced mitochondrial function, increasing ATP production and cellular energy. It lowered cortisol levels by 25%, reducing stress biomarkers. And it improved sleep quality and physical activity levels, supporting overall wellness. No adverse effects were reported, and compliance was 100%.
The limitations on the study were that it was conducted over 12 weeks, and while the results are promising, longer-term studies are necessary to confirm the sustained benefits.
The study focused on healthy but stressed individuals; additional research may explore effects in broader demographics.

For this product, Niance is making the claim “clinically proven to reverse biological aging by up to 12 years.” Can you go into more detail on how this has been clinically proven?
This claim is based on DNA methylation age (DNAmAge) analysis, a widely recognized biomarker for biological aging.
The trial analyzed five key epigenetic markers (ELOVL2, C1orf122, KLF14, TRIM59, and FHL2) using pyrosequencing to determine the participants' biological age before and after supplementation.
The results were that participants taking Epigen12 showed a statistically significant reduction in epigenetic aging that was the equivalent to turning back the biological clock by up to 12 years.
The placebo group continued to age at the expected rate, confirming that the observed effects were due to Epigen12. This approach is scientifically validated and widely used in longevity research to measure aging interventions.
Can you tell us more about this claim: “prevents telomere shortening to maintain cellular longevity”?
Telomere length is a critical biomarker of cellular aging, shorter telomeres are associated with aging and age-related diseases.
In the clinical trial, Leukocyte Telomere Length (LTL) was measured using qPCR. After 12 weeks of Epigen12 supplementation, participants in the intervention group maintained their telomere length, while the placebo group showed significant telomere attrition.
Statistical significance (p=0.004144) confirmed that Epigen12 actively supports telomere preservation, reducing cellular senescence and enhancing longevity.
The active ingredients flavonoid-rich extracts from Scarlet Beebalm and Lemon Balm, along with NAD+ precursors like nicotinamide riboside and trans-resveratrol, play a role in this effect by reducing oxidative stress and inflammation—key drivers of telomere shortening.
How exactly does this supplement “enhance ATP production for optimal mitochondrial function”?
Mitochondrial function is crucial for cellular energy production, and its decline is a hallmark of aging.
The study measured Mitochondrial DNA Copy Number (mtDNAcn) using digital PCR (dPCR) as a marker for mitochondrial health.
In terms of the results, the placebo group showed a statistically significant decline in mtDNAcn, indicating mitochondrial degradation. The Epigen12 group maintained stable mtDNAcn levels, suggesting preserved mitochondrial function.
ATP production was increased, measured using bioluminescent ATP assays in human heart cells. Epigen12 significantly protected mitochondria from oxidative stress, which is critical for sustained cellular energy.
Key ingredients supporting this mechanism are: nicotinamide riboside (NR) and niacinamide to boost NAD+ levels, essential for mitochondrial function; Coenzyme Q10, which supports the electron transport chain, facilitating ATP production; trans-resveratrol, which activates sirtuins, enhancing mitochondrial efficiency.

And finally, how does this supplement “enhance sleep quality, physical activity and overall wellness”?
Epigen12 improved multiple quality-of-life parameters during the clinical trial, measured using WHOQOL-BREF surveys and wearable tracking devices.
In terms of sleep quality:
- Improved sleep index scores, with participants experiencing longer, higher-quality sleep.
- Salivary cortisol levels were reduced by 25%, lowering stress-induced sleep disturbances.
- Lemon balm extract has well-documented neuroprotective and calming effects, which contributed to improved sleep patterns.
In terms of physical activity:
- Participants in the Epigen12 group had a statistically significant increase in movement, step count and energy levels compared to placebo.
- ATP production enhancement translated into improved endurance and vitality.
In terms of overall wellness:
- The WHOQOL-BREF survey showed a statistically significant improvement in well-being.
- Reduced inflammation (IL-6 suppression) and increased nitric oxide release (improving vascular health) further contributed to better overall vitality.
You have formulated with the actives Scarlet Beebalm and Lemon Balm. Can you explain more about how and why you worked with these ingredients?
Scarlet Beebalm (Monarda didyma L.) and Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) were selected based on their rich polyphenol and flavonoid profiles, known for their effects on epigenetic regulation and mitochondrial support.
Scarlet Beebalm (Oswego Tea) has a long history in Native American medicine for its role in immune support and vitality. It contains dihydromyricetin, which enhances mitochondrial ATP production and supports longevity.
Lemon Balm has well-documented neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces stress-induced epigenetic changes, enhancing sleep, memory and cellular repair.
Their unique synergy was validated through in vitro assays showing significant epigenetic reprogramming effects, leading to the development of Epigen12.

And finally, why did you choose the other ingredients in the formulation?
Each ingredient in Epigen12 was scientifically selected for its synergistic role in supporting cellular health, energy production and longevity:
NR is a potent NAD+ precursor, essential for cellular energy production and mitochondrial repair. Niacinamide complements NR by enhancing NAD+ metabolism, supporting DNA repair and improving skin barrier function. Together, they restore youthful cellular function and help prevent age-related decline.
Unlike conventional resveratrol, trans-resveratrol is the more active, stable and bioavailable form. Resveratrol exists in both cis and trans forms, but only trans-resveratrol maintains structural integrity and effectiveness over time.
Trans-resveratrol is more readily absorbed and utilized in the body, leading to enhanced activation of sirtuins (longevity proteins), improved mitochondrial efficiency and stronger antioxidant effects. It reduces oxidative stress, promotes DNA repair and supports vascular health, all of which are essential for longevity.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is vital for mitochondrial health, playing a critical role in ATP production, energy metabolism and antioxidant protection. It supports cardiovascular function, reduces oxidative stress and enhances skin elasticity.
This carefully curated combination ensures that Epigen12 Cell Renewal provides comprehensive longevity benefits, working at the cellular level to enhance vitality, resilience and youthful function.
