The luxury Italian brand has unveiled a first-of-its-kind store in Covent Garden, which combines beauty products and accessories such as eyewear.

The brand first saw success with its Christmas pop-up on the Covent Garden Piazza in December 2022 and has now opened the permanent space in the iconic Market Building.

The 850sq ft boutique showcases a selection of cosmetics and signature fragrances and boasts a makeup consultation space.

Interestingly, it also showcases accessories under the same roof – including its luxury eyewear range.

A gold panelled and monochrome tiled décor combines the traditional charm of the historic Market Building with the brand’s signature Italian glamour.

Covent Garden: a honeypot for luxury beauty players

With the new Covent Garden store opening, Dolce&Gabbana joins other luxury beauty and fragrance brands including Chanel Beauty, Diptyque, Guerlain, Penhaligon’s, Glossier, Charlotte Tilbury in the exclusive London address.

Covent Garden’s Market Building is owned by property investment firm, Shaftesbury Capital. The company’s retail leasing director William Oliver noted the success of Dolce&Gabbana’s popup in 2022, and explained that “the brand has reinvested in the destination, showcasing Covent Garden’s appeal for internationally renowned fashion houses to put down permanent roots.”
