Guardians of Memories is an educational game to immerse future fragrance shoppers in the world of scent creation to “demystify the fragrance world.”
The Swiss fragrance manufacturer has worked with external partners, digital strategy experts Digitalli, and Novelab, which it dubbed “a pioneer in creating immersive adventure.”
Givaudan noted that Roblox is the biggest gaming platform in the world and has 90 million daily players.
Via the game, users can learn, interact, and share their discoveries, experimenting with perfume ingredients and composition through gamification.
Givaudan said Guardians of Memories has been designed to resonate with young consumers in a digital environment “to tap into the momentum of their interest in perfumes.”
Digital transformation “essential”
According to Givaudan’s head of business solutions, Anne Tayac, the company wishes to pioneer “innovative and disruptive solutions.”
Tayac hoped the move would “empower the next generation to appreciate the art of perfumery.”
She added that “digital transformation is essential for deepening our understanding of consumers’ needs, enabling Givaudan to consistently deliver exceptional products.”
