European trade association Cosmetics Europe has cancelled its annual conference due to take place in Brussels this June amid the ongoing global coronavirus outbreak.

The Cosmetics Europe Annual Conference 2020 ‘People – Planet – Products’ was scheduled for June 10-11 in Brussels.

“In light of the evolving COVID-19 crisis, Cosmetics Europe has made the regrettable but necessary decision to cancel the Cosmetics Europe Annual Conference 2020,” it said in a statement.

The trade association said full refunds would be provided to those already registered and it would work to manage any other implications from this cancellation.

“We thank everyone who expressed interest in joining the event this year. We look forward to bringing you CEAC 2021 with even more passion and excitement next year.”
