Provital CEO to step down after 40 years
Pedrom Marcet is to step down from his position as CEO of the Provital Group after nearly 40 years with teh company.

Marcet announced his decision to step down from his management position at the company, and to leave the company effective November 15th, 2018, as he prepares for retirement.

Marcet has played a key role in the transformation of the company, together with its international expansion to serve the cosmetics and personal care industry for natural-based actives.

Building the global network

He was the driving force behind the necessary structural changes, establishing the global distributor network and spearheading the creation of the group’s affiliates, the company says.

"Without his knowledge, hard work and dedication, Provital would not have attained its current position as a leading company in the worldwide market of cosmetic active ingredients,"​ according to an official company statement to announce the retirement.

Under his watch, the company announced a ten year plan in 2010 that aimed to double revenues, by continuing to develop sustainable, natural-based innovative actives.

Ricard Armengol as the new CEO

Moving forward, company executives say they want to continue to work actively to add value to the worldwide cosmetic industry, always faithful to these principles with the appointment of Ricard Armengol as the new CEO.

Amengol is currently the managing director of the business and the like his forerunner, is based at the company headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.

"We hope that we will continue to enjoy the trust of all our customers, suppliers and collaborators as they join us on this path to the future,"​ the company statement went on to say.
