A brand new brand on the Colombian market, Mae Selva has been built around coffee as the base ingredient for a range of masks and scrubs. We spoke to co-founder Felipe Paros to find out about the brand's ambitions for the future.

The Mae Selva range has been built around the concept of developing formulations that are made from natural ingredients, mainly sourced from Colombia, that combine high levels of efficacy.

As Paros explains in the video, the range includes ingredients such as coffee, vanilla and natural oils, that include coconut and avocado, all known to have excellent skin health properties, and all sourced in Colombia.

Facial and body care treatments

The range includes four types of scrubs for the body, with two types of facial masks that include ingredients such as moringa and honey, that combine with the coffee ingredient to thoroughly cleanse the skin.

And six more products are in the innovation pipeline, three more for the skin and three more products that will take the company into the hair care category.

The hair care products will include a shampoo, conditioner and treatment, while the complete range of new products will include new ingredients, including super fruit extracts.
