Indie Beauty Expo London is next
Last week saw the indie Beauty Expo in New York City platform 250 indie beauty brands, and after the success of this event, the next stop will be London.The inaugural European event will take place between October 24th and 25th at the Old Truman Brewery, a quirky arts and media venue in the heart of London’s East End.
Indie Beauty Expo has grown to now include a portfolio of events that stretches to five cities, which beyond London and New York City, also includes Los Angeles, Dallas and the inaugural Berlin event, scheduled for March 22nd to 23rd, 2019.
Early bird pricing!
For the London IBE the event organisers are running early bird pricing for attendance until the 10th of September, while there are still some exhibitor opportunities to be had.
The event itself will include the Shop Indie event, from 5pm to 9pm on Wednesday October 24th, which embraces everyone and also gives an opportunity for the general public to look in on the latest indie offerings and buy products.
On Thursday October 25th the event is open from 10am to 5pm, when the exhibition space offers opportunities for buyers, beauty press and beauty professionals to get a look in on the latest bands and which players are really setting the trends.
Europe catches on to indie beauty
The US has proved the big incubator for the indie beauty trend in recent years, with huge hubs developing in both Los Angeles and New York City over the past five years, but the fact that the organisers have now lined up two brand new European events reflects the growing interest on the other side of the Atlantic.
Last week’s New York event created a real buzz, with both consumers as well as distributors, suppliers and bigger brands all descending on Pier 36 to fine out what the buzz was about.
