Packaging in Europe: ADF&PCD Paris gears up for 2018 edition
In addition to the conferences and the PCD Awards, the show is set to host new areas focussed on the innovations of the future of packaging.
These four new zones are:

The Accelerator Zone

The Pentawards
“Dedicated to innovation and business solutions, PCD gathers over 490 exhibitors from leading suppliers alongside buyers and influencers, providing unapparelled networking and business opportunities,” say show organisers. Registration information is available here.
The Innovation and Technology Theatre
The Innovation & Technology Theatre will preview suppliers’ latest innovations and new products, or most recent launches, with the suppliers present or through a short interactive presentation.
It is set to take the format of an interactive conference area open to all visitors at the heart of the exhibition area.
The Accelerator Zone
With startup entreprising increasingly leading the way when it comes to innovation in the packaging arena (particularly in areas such as sustainable packaging and digital offerings), a focus on the latest upcoming players is set to take place at the ADF&PCD Paris 2018 show.
The Accelerator Zone is a platform dedicated to start-ups who wish to meet, exchange and present innovations that will revolutionalise the packaging of the future.
The CFA interactive area
To mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Comité Français des Aérosols (CFA), the group will be hosting an interactive area dedicated to the history and future of aerosols on booth W44.
Pentawards
And finally, an exclusive area in the exhibition is due to be set aside to present the award winners of ‘the most prestigious world competition exclusively dedicated to all forms of packaging design’, say the show’s organisers.
