Estee Lauder’s UK & Ireland operation has appointed Janet Saunders to the newly created position of Commercial Vice President/ General Manager, as it looks to leverage further opportunities across its portfolio.

The company says it will maximise these opportunities and help each individual brand focus more extensively.

Saunders was already an employee at the cosmetics maker having served as the Vice President/ General Manager of the Clinique, Origins, and Darphin brands up until now.

In her new role, Estee Lauder says she will oversee all commercial aspects of the business and will also be responsible for strategic retailer relationships, corporate and brand capabilities and selling effectiveness.

Janet will directly report to Chris Good, President of Estee Lauder UK & Ireland, and will have Commercial Director Howard Cazin report to her under the new structure.

“The creation of the new vice president/general manager commercial role in the UK Region will serve to maximize and leverage opportunities across The Estée Lauder Companies UK & Ireland as a whole, as well as our fabulous brand portfolio and within our individual brands,” comments Good.

“Janet’s extensive industry and brand experience coupled with her well-established retailer relationships made her the obvious choice for the job.”
