Ingredients supplier Symrise is looking to reinforce its cosmetics operations with two new strategic additions in the Actives and Botanicals and Colours businesses.

The news sees Caroline Baptiste become Global Product Manager Actives, while Arnaud Bellon joins as Senior Vice President Global Head Botanicals and Colours.

Symrise states that the company is very happy with both appointments given the extensive experience both additions contribute in the industry from their prior roles.

Baptiste will take up her role in Paris, having worked at Yves Rocher as R&D Project Manager Cosmetic Actives, where she was in charge of the development and positioning of active ingredients in consumer products.

Caroline also has a firm background in analytical chemistry and graduated with a Master degree in ‘Vegetal substances of industrial interest’ from the University of Strasbourg; and holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences.

In her role, she will be managing the Cooling/Warming, Moisturizing and Bioactives segments within the category Actives.
