Aptar launches dual-action aerosol actuator
Aptar’s ‘Home+Beauty’ division has announced the development of a dual action spray device for cosmetics packaging, in a development they claim will increase consumer comfort.
The innovation, dubbed ‘Runway’, is a trigger accessory which can operated either vertically or via its trigger. The company states it offers “maximum ease of use”.
Aptar suggests that vertical option is appropriate for short, precise applications, while the trigger allows more comfortable applications over longer duration.
It can be applied to various products which could benefit from this variation of application styles: the developer offers sun cream, hairspray, and body lotion as examples.
It notes, “the trend towards multi-purpose cleaners demonstrates how customers want their routine to be faster and easier without sacrificing cleanliness”.
