Tubex comes out ahead at Aluminum Aerosol Can Award 2013
Tubex from Germany, which creates containers for deodorants among other products, came out well, gaining the award for products already on the market for its ‘wellaflex’ aerosol can.
The firm also won the Prototype category for its ‘Autumn’ brand, which was created using innovative printing techniques and special inks.
The winners were chosen from the editors of 12 “well-known and respected” packaging publications from all over the world.
Gregor Spengler, secretary general of Aerobal, highlighted the possibilities of aluminum containers, commenting: “In addition to its unique barrier properties, its high standards of reliability and quality as a result of it being a one-piece can, and its good recyclability, the aluminum can scores above all because of the interesting possibilities it offers when it comes to printing and shaping.”
