Beyond Beauty Paris 2013 opens its doors in just two weeks
Held at the Port de Versailles expo centre, Beyond Beauty Paris gathers companies from all over the world, where new products, ingredients, packaging, testing and processing, as well as all the latest trends will be showcased under one roof.
The event is invariably a huge promotional platform for the many French companies involved in the industry, the majority of which are based in the Paris area, but also is very popular with a large number of companies from throughout Europe.
In line with this, the event organisers estimate that 80 percent of the visitors to the show are from Europe, but that the number of overseas visitors has continued to grow each year, mainly thanks to a recent partnership with trade association BOYA, which has helped to attract an estimated 100 buyers from China to this year’s show.
2013 should see a 50 per cent hike in newcomes to the show
"Over 50 per cent of the exhibitors will be new comers in September from a total of 480 exhibitors, which will also include around 20 US brands, as well as new Japanese and Korean brands,” said Pradip Bala, Beyond Beauty Paris general manager.
“For many international companies, the two tradeshows are an important communication platform, viewed as a not to be missed event to attend.”
Highlights for this year’s event will include the Beauty Challengers Awards held within the Cosmeeting event, an award that has come to highlight some of the most innovative and technologically advanced finished products currently available on the market.
Look out for the entries to the Beauty Challengers at Zoom
These brands are all exhibited in the Zoom area of the showfloor, which has come to be a first point of call for many visitors to the show, eager to find out about the sort of the products that are at the cutting edge of developments in the industry right now.
One of the highlights of Creative Beauty Paris will undoubtedly be the BBLAB, which this year will focus in on one of the industry’s most promising trends - male grooming, by focusing in on some of the most mould-breaking launches to hit the market.
This year the event will also include members of the Cosmetics Design editorial team, who will also be pacing the aisles and bringing you all the latest on the product launches and trends that are shaping this year’s event.
