Sainsbury’s to launch own brand make-up
Supermarket chain Sainsbury’s is launching its own brand cosmetics range in September 2013.

The collection is titled “Boutique” and will include lines in lipgloss, nail polish, lipstick and eye shadow.

Boutique was created with the help of make-up artists Jo Saville and Sophia Price, who have been working on the line with Sainsburys since early 2011.

The company has stated that in a blind product testing with industry professionals, over 90 per cent of the beauty panel recommended Boutique.

A spokesperson from the retailer said: “Boutique is set to transform the way women shop for their make-up bag essentials.”

From nail polishes, lipsticks, lip gloss, eyeshadows to accessories, Boutique has been created, trialled and rigorously tested by a collective of professional make-up artists.”

The release of the make-up line is timed to coincide with the re-launch of the company’s skincare range, “Skin Therapy.”
