SEPAWA/EDC Congress to focus on innovation and sustainability

The programme for the annual SEPAWA/EDC Congress has been unveiled, revealing a focus on sustainability and innovation aimed at a host of industry professionals, including formulation and regulation experts.

The 59th​ edition of the congress will be held at the Esperanto Hotel in Fulda, Germany from 23 – 25 October, and is being organised through the co-operation of the European cosmetic, fragrance and detergents group SEPAWA, together with specialist association GDCh.

Last year over 1,800 delegates attending the event, and the event organiser reports that all 184 the booths for this year’s event have already been booked up.

New this year is the Forum for Innovations

As well as the extensive exhibition space that will demonstrate the latest innovations and trends from some of the leading individual European suppliers, the newly introduced Forum for Innovations will also serve as a unified platform for all that is new at the show.

The Forum will include presentations on a number of subjects ranging from cosmetic actives and functionals, to hair care ingredients, microbial control technologies and functional ingredients and technologies, which will be held over the three days of the event.

As well as the show floor, the comprehensive conference programme will include a series of lectures with a particularly scientific angle, to showcase some of the latest advances in a number of key areas.

On top of the Forum for Innovations conference programme, the conferences will also include dedicated programmes for DGK/SEPAWA, GDCh/LUV, DGP and the European Detergence conference.

Specific presentations will focus on key areas including foam formations, sustainability, raw materials, sun protection and hair care, will focus on specific aspects of the industry, while other presentations will focus on core logistical and business issue.
