Cosmetics highlighted as important industry for economy in Poland with programme launch
The country’s capital and largest city, Warsaw, will be the venue for an inauguration conference presenting the Polish cosmetics industry to foreign markets.
It is all part of a government plan that has seen the cosmetics industry chosen by the Polish Ministry of Economy as one of 15 flagship branches of industry promoting the Polish economy on international markets.
International scope
The Promotion Programme is going to last 3 years and will be carried out in: Poland, Italy, Germany, the Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the USA, China and Brazil.
During the conference, a new report on the Polish cosmetic industry and its export potential will be presented and a series of case studies from Poland shown. They will be followed by panel discussions with Polish and foreign guests.
Blanka Chmurzyńska-Brown, Director General of the Polish Union of Cosmetic Industry will open the day discussing these topics and will be followed in the afternoon by a series of speakers from Poland and abroad, who will look at the market from a global perspective.
Broad reach
“The programme will enable the Polish National Pavilion to appear at the most important world cosmetics fairs,” say conference organisers.
Polish companies are also planning to go on numerous foreign trade missions, as well as hosting foreign contractors and journalists in Poland. An international advertising campaign for the branch is also being planned.
The programme will be inaugurated at the international conference in Warsaw on 14th September, 2012, held during the Polish Cosmetics Fair and combined with several accompanying events.
