Natural Sourcing introduces berry seed oils for cosmetic use
Ingredients provider Natural Sourcing has announced the availability of its range of omega-rich organic and conventional cold pressed berry seed oils for use in innovative personal care products.
Berry seed oils can be used in body and face, eye, lip, hair and sun care formulations where emolliency, conditioning and high EFA content are desired.
They are gaining increasing attention by cosmeceutical manufacturers and the spa industry because they are rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, making them exceptionally nutritive for the skin and hair, explains Kibby Mitra, CEO of Natural Sourcing.
“Berry seed oils, most notably Red Raspberry and Cranberry, are stable oils that possess a longer shelf life than most other oils that have a high essential fatty acid composition. This stability can be attributed to the high content of natural antioxidants including tocopherols and tocotrienols.”
