Cosmetics Design spoke to Antoine Dauby, group marketing director for France-based ingredients player Naturex, to find out more about how the company is continuing to shift its main focus away from the food and nutrition sector in an effort to diversify the business with an extensive cosmetics portfolio.

In the interview Dauby explains about how the recent acquisition of botanical extracts business Burgundy has helped the company in its mission to diversify beyond food and also hints at how the company plans to eye further opportunities to expand the business should further acquisition opportunities occur.

Underlining its commitment to the cosmetics industry, the company announced a string of new ingredient launches at the show, including a range of natural-based colour pigments, largely based on colourings that are also used for the company's food division.
