The Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) event will platform the latest industry innovations at the Expo Theme Pavilion in Shanghai and the Cosmetics Design team will be there.

Held from 27 – 29 February, the event will focus on the latest products to be launched by a variety of suppliers on the personal care and cosmetics market, from companies in China, Asia and worldwide.

The event itself is situated in the heart of the Pudong district, the city’s main business district, which also serves as the heart of the Shanghai province, one of China’s leading industrial zones and also a leading hub for cosmetic and personal care suppliers.

PCHi is supported by the country’s leading industry associations, including the China Association of Fragrance Flavor and Cosmetic Industries (CAFFCI), the China Association of Surfactant Soap and Detergent Industries (CASSDI), together with national and international media.

The Cosmetics Design team will be there!

The Cosmetics Design team will be present at the event, combing the aisles and attending the most important conferences in an effort to pinpoint the latest trends and key industry developments for suppliers operating in China and the region.

In depth coverage of the event will include highlights from the conference program and interviews with some of the leading players, participating as both visitors and exhibitors.

Companies that the Cosmetics Design team will be speaking to during the course of the three day show include both international and China domestic players, as well as industry associations.

The companies that the editorial team will be interviewing will include international players, Merck Chemicals, Proya, and Provital as well as domestic players Shandong Freda Biotech and Shandong Topscience Bio-Tech.

Cosmetics Valley flies the flag for France

The editorial team will also be talking to French industry association Cosmetics Valley about how companies it represents are getting increasingly involved in the region and more specifically the China cosmetics and personal care market.

Coverage will also focus on the China Personal Care & Cosmetics Innovations Awards 2012, a brand new initiative introduced to recognize key technological developments, new products and manufacturing processes.

The awards are divided into three principle categories: Most Innovative Ingredients, Most Innovative Formulating and Processing Technologies, and Manufacturing Testing and Services for equipment and service providers. All the principle winners will be revealed next week.
