ADA takes on Aveda distribution in Europe and beyond
Aveda, which is a US manufacturer of natural and organic beauty products, has belonged to the Estee Lauder Company since 1997, and it is of the belief that the collaboration will see increased success for the company in the hotel business.

Experience in the hotel business
As a manufacturer of hotel cosmetics in its own right, ADA enjoys long-standing contacts in the hotel sector, which Aveda plans to make good use of.
The license agreement was strongly favoured by Marietta Corporate, one of the largest US hotel cosmetics producers with whom ADA and Aveda maintain a strategic alliance.
With this consolidation, both companies are focusing on globally active hotel groups as target clients.
Wilhelm Könning, CEO of the ADA Group, emphasized that Aveda's products perfectly complement ADA's own offerings as the body care series are all purely plant-based.
Environmentally-conscious approach
Aveda pursues a strict, eco-friendly manufacturing policy and has used only wind energy for its production in the past five years.
"This company's uncompromising and environmentally conscious approach matches our own values and product philosophy very well. Now our selection of 'green' lines has become larger. Our clients will really appreciate that", said Könning.
Aveda's product range includes flower and plant-based skin and body care items for the hotel bathroom, hotel spa and beauty salon.
ADA plans to consolidate the stocking of the Aveda merchandise quickly and to establish warehousing in the distribution centers of Kehl, Germany and Hong Kong to ensure a prompt delivery of orders at any time.
