As North America’s leading cosmetic industry event readies to open its doors again next week, this year’s HBA panel will focus on one of the industry’s hottest topics : skin anti-aging technologies.

This is the second year that the Leadership Panel is being staged and the programme has again been organized by Meyer Rosen, president at Interactive Consulting and chief scientific advisor & director of technical programming at HBA.

The conference will take place as part of the technical track for the event’s educational programme, on Tuesday June 28th, from 1pm to 2.15pm. It will be focused on generating an interesting discussion to highlight some of the most cutting edge technologies available in the skin care segment right now.

Entitled, Leadership Panel : Generating the Future in Skin Anti-Aging Technology, the conference segment will feature five leading industry experts who all work by harnassing new technologies to create safe and more effective cosmetics and personal care products for the consumer market.

A diverse panel of industry professionals

The panel includes a diverse range of industry professionals, including Kenneth Aldrich, chairman of the International Stemcell Corporation, Dr. Samantha Tucker-Samaras, director of Skincare Innovation Platforms at Johnson & Johnson, Rebecca James Gadberry, CEO YG Laboratories, Hani Fares, senior direct for personal care at ISP and Dr. Robb Akridge, VP of clinical research at Pacific Bioscience Laboratories.

The event will also be moderated by myself, Simon Pitman, senior editor for the CosmeticsDesign websites, while Meyer Rosen will also be stepping in to co-moderate the proceedings.

The conference program will kick off with a short introduction by the moderators, which will then be followed up a brief introduction and background from each of the individual panelists.

Panel discussion to focus on newest technologies

This will then lead into the panel discussion, which will involve the panelists sharing their experiences in their specific areas, as well as giving some insight into the core challenges and how they have been overcome.

Having such a distinguished line up of industry professionals from such diverse backgrounds will undoubtedly lead to some eye-opening insights into the newest technologies and scientific advances that are likely to shape the all-important and fast moving skin anti-aging segment in the future.
