Dow stresses the importance of reacting to consumer interest in preservatives

Dow Microbial is meeting consumer interest head on with the launch of its two new preservatives, Jose Mosquera told CosmeticsDesign.com USA in an exclusive interview.

Speaking at the in-cosmetics event in Milan, Dow Microbial's global strategic marketing manager spoke of the key trends in preservatives right now.

Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of ingredients used, and are seeking products that are free of parabens, as well as ones that contain formaldehyde releasers.

Mosquera explained that with its new line of ingredients launched at the show, Dow Microbial are allowing manufacturers to formulate products without using ingredients which have caused consumer concern.
