STO designs new bottle for Oriflame
The Oriflame range includes the Petal Quartz, Diamond Musk and Amethyst Fatale Eau de Parfums, and was a project that appealed to STO according to its Perfumery and Personal Care sales director, Mark Devonald Smith.
“It’s a natural miniature to the 50ml regular bottle, which is shallow but with a large diameter, balanced by a matching cylindrical cap which fastens onto the neck. The registrations of bottle and cap are critical to obtain a successful closure,” he said.
“Also, the bottle is one pass ceramic printed with a pattern of black flower heads plus the name of the fragrance. The flowers make a complete circle round the bottle and, again registration is critical. Close cooperation between STO and the cap suppliers, Toly Plastics, was needed,” Smith added.
