Lifting the lid on the point of sale display category
The market for point of sale display materials is a surprisingly vibrant category that faces the same challenges as any packaging cosmetics packaging company, explains Olivier Zoccheddu, from the company EZY PLV (Global Concept PLV).

Based near Chartre, south west of Paris, Global Concept PLV has experienced rapid expansion over the past few years as the market for point of sale display materials hots up.

This is attributed to the fact that cosmetics companies are increasingly having to compete for retail shelve space in an ultra competitive market crowded with competing brands.

This means that big brand personal care and cosmetic product are searching for more and more elaborate point of sale display materials - including boxes, stands, shelves and display cabinets - that both enhance and highlight the product.

And as Zoccheddu explains in this audio podcast, Global Concept PLV's expansion also means that it is facing much the same sort of challenges as any other packaging company, particularly with reference to eco-friendly packaging.
