Jafra Cosmetics plans to expand its international presence by turning to new markets over the next five years in Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, starting with India.

“With growth from our existing markets and new business generated from future markets in Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, JAFRA is poised to reach its goal of becoming a billion dollar company by 2014,” said Dr. Friedrich Kroos, Jafra president and CEO.

Jafra has partnered with Ruchi Soya Industries’, an Indian corporation with an existing sales infrastructure, which it hopes will give it the opportunity to penetrate and distribute to a large mass of established sales people and share with them the Jafra products and opportunity.

“Even though the multi-level marketing industry is still young in India, we see incredible possibilities to deliver a compelling offering of world class beauty products, a competitive and rewarding entrepreneurial opportunity and superior customer service with the support of a strong local partner,” said Kroos.

With Jafra now present in four of the five BRIC countries, Kroos feels each learning experience will aid the company in future expansion.
