Aldivia expands organic certification of Viatenza line
France-based ingredients player Aldivia says it has expanded certification of its Viatenza line, having received Ecocert for its virgin organic castor oil ingredient.
Viatenze Ricinus PO6 Organic 75 per cent is said to bring a natural shine for the manufacturing of lipsticks, shampoos, conditioner and hair masks.
Thanks to high levels of viscosity and the fact that it adds a thicker texture to formulations, the manufacturer claims it can be incorporated into a wide range of cosmetics formulations.
It is also said to stabilize emulsions, solibulize essential oils and fragrances, facilitate the dispersion of bath oils and also helps to rinse of oily based products.
The ingredient has been processed according to green chemistry principles, is 100 per cent of natural origin and is therefore a useful ingredient to include in natural and organic formulations.
