Lumson creates recycling logo for its airless packaging
Italian packaging company, Lumson, has created a recycling logo for its airless glass packaging.
The TAG-System packaging can be recycled thanks to its Eco-Lock System component, which allows the consumer to separate the plastic pump from the glass bottle.
The logo was created in order to draw attention to this eco-friendly feature, and Lumson said its customers can use the logo to promote more responsible recycling to consumers.
Unlike glass contaminated with plastic, the TAG-System bottle requires no special post recycling process and 100 per cent of the recycled bottle is turned into new glass, according to the company.
