Contract packaging manufacturer Biopack is concentrating on offering its customers turnkey solutions as a means of adding value for its customers during difficult market conditions.

The company specialises in contract packaging for the beauty industry and is based in Val-de-Reuil, in Normandy, France, in an area that forms part of the Cosmetics Valley development region.

The company has traditionally focused on providing secondary sample packaging, mainly for the fragrance industry, but, as Maxim d’Haussy, Biopack's Chief Operating Officer, explained to CosmeticsDesign-Europe.com in this exclusive audio interview, the crisis that has hit the sector has pushed beauty companies to look for packaging providers that can provide a complete, one-stop service.

The move towards turnkey packaging solutions forms part of distinct trend within the industry that has been further underlined by the economic crisis and the significant impact that it has had on the sector.

In this audio interview, d’Haussy also explains how the company has evolved, both culturally and in its business operation since it was bought out by global packaging provider Ileos.
