Aptar Group’s dispenser businesses grouped under new name

Aptar Group has reorganized its business to reflect the markets it serves introducing the new brand name, Aptar Beauty and Home.

Seven of Aptar Group’s companies including airless packaging company Airlessystems and spray dispensing manufacturer Valois have been regrouped and will take on the new corporate identity Aptar Beauty + Home.

The companies’ products and services, will take on the new brand name during the course of the year and the group claims the Beauty + Home business line will be up and running by 2011.

According to the group the realignment of the business, which also includes the introduction of the business lines Aptar Food + Beverage and Aptar Pharma, is an attempt to improve services offered to customers and enhance innovation.

“By realigning our businesses in a way that is completely market focused, we will make it even easier for customers to do business with us, and will be able to offer our full product range in each of our three segments,”​ said president and CEO of Aptar Group Peter Pfeiffer.

Within the beauty and home segment, sales and production will be organized on regional lines.

This new way of working is expected to help the company’s ability to respond to market needs and boost innovation.

“The aim is to step up our ability to identify customer needs and expectations and to rapidly turn them into new, tailored and innovative types of distribution system,” ​the company said in a statement.

The seven companies to be united under the Aptar Beauty + Home name are Airlessytems, Emsar, Indigo by Valois, Pfeiffer, Seaquist Closures, Seaquist Perfect Dispending and Valois, and manufacture dispensing systems, spray fittings, and closures for the personal care market.
