Sun Chemical Performance Pigments will unveil a new range of color pigments at the forthcoming in-cosmetics show, held in Paris April 13. 15.

The Ohio-based company says the range aims to enhance color and effect offerings for formulators of color cosmetics products, a category that has a fast product launch rate due to the fact that the category is heavily influenced by the fast pace of change in the fashion industry.

The addition to the portfolio is a range of seven new pearlescent pigments known as the Intenza line that have been designed to provide bold effects for the eye make-up category, alongside other color make-up products.

The launch of the seven new pigments is in addition to the six existing color shades in the range aimed primarily at the nail polish, lipstick and blush categories.

“Cosmetics consumers want more choices in their make-up. They especially want more bold colors and more dazzling effects,” said Edwin Faulkner, global director of cosmetics, Sun Chemical Performance Pigments.

The newly extended range will be featured on the company’s stand at the in-cosmetics show, which is located at booth D80.
