A cosmetic preservative that meets the Ecocert standards has been launched by Arch Personal Care.

Mikrokill ECT was created in response to a growing market need for a cosmetic preservative with wide global regulatory acceptance.

The clear liquid preservative is a patent-pending combination of benzyl alcohol, salicylic acid, glycerin and sorbic acid.

Mikrokill ECT, compatible with most personal care ingredients, is particularly suitable for use in fragrance-free formulations due to its low odour profile, according to Arch.
