L’Oreal to shed Sanoflore factory

French cosmetics giant L’Oreal will get rid of its Sanoflore manufacturing plant before the end of 2010, according to French newspaper Le Figaro.

The company bought the organic cosmetics brand back in 2006 and said it is getting shedding the manufacturing plant in order to concentrate on the research and development side of organic products.

The production site at Gigors-et-Lozeron in the Drôme region will be taken on by the Fareva group which will continue production at the site of both Sanoflore and other brands.
