Piers Morgan features in the advertising campaign for Burger King’s new meat-scented cologne, lying naked, except for a Burger King medallion and a strategically placed rug, in front of a blazing fire.

Ex News of the World editor and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge, Morgan is the face of this new fragrance, called ‘flame’. The ad campaign, which was unveiled at Selfridges in London yesterday, is said to be a tongue-in-cheek take on polished underwear ads featuring celebrities such as David Beckham.

The tagline to the advert reads: “The scent of seduction. With a hint of flame grilled meat”. Burger King has also created a ‘making of’ video featuring the 44 year old Morgan stripping off and preparing to be photographed.

The fragrance will be available to buy in Selfridges and Red5 shops for ₤4.99 and a series of cardboard cut outs of Morgan will be placed in 19 Burger King outlets.
