Beraca launches new range of active ingredients
The company has chosen the forthcoming in-cosmetics exhibition in Munich, Germany as the platform to unveil the ingredients, which target the hair and skin care segments.
It will be showcasing the Beracare ARS Hair, an ingredient that aims to revitalize hair thanks to the inclusion of Omega-6 and Flavonoids that help to improve the quality of tired or damaged hair.
This is achieved because the active compound contained in the formulation works as a natural alternative to silicon replacement, promoting general hair nutrition, softness and shine, the company says.
Beracare ARS revitalises and protects hair
It is also said to revitalize chemically treated hair as well as providing significant protection against environmental damages that gives hair a build-up, making it appear dull and giving it a greasy feel.
Targeting both hair and skin, the company is launching its Biofunctional Buriti Extract, which is a nourishing active ingredient thanks to rich anti-oxidant properties, and has USDA Organic and Ecocert certifications.
The Buriti tree is found in the Amazon basin, and has been used by generations of indigenous people for a variety of purposes, from medicinal through to hair and skin treatments.
Buriti is 'the tree of life'
From the leaves to the roots, all parts of the tree are used to derive the Buriti oil, and it is the high concentrations of active properties in the oil that led indigenous people to call it 'the tree of life’.
Beraca's Buriti extract targets dry or damaged skin, providing what the company claims are regenerative and repairing effects. It can likewise be used in dry hair care formulations to moisturise and condition.
The company will be exhibiting these two new ingredients and its range of rain forest specialties, active performance ingredients and bioscrubs at stand F200, during the in-cosmetics exhibition, being held at the Munich Trade Fair Centre, April 21 -23.
