Soliance launches organic cosmetic oils

The first is Kendi oil, which has been chosen by the company for its sensory properties, while the second is Nyamplung oil, which is an active ingredient known for its therapeutic properties.

Kendi is a virgin oil, which the company has sourced in the Sulawesi islands from a type of almond known as Aleurites moluccana that has been produced using a cold pressing extraction process.

Ethical sourcing​

The sourcing process has taken into account the local communities that are involved in the farming of the Kendi oil, while the whole logistical and supply chain process has been developed with an eco-responsible approach.

The oil itself is rich in omega-3 and y-tocopherol, properties that allow for fast skin penetration that is non-greasy and leaves the skin feeling dry to the touch after application, the company claims.

Nyamplung oil is another virgin oil, which is sourced in a number of regions in Indonesia from the almonds of Calophyllum inophyllum, a tree known for its therapeutic properties, along with a number of active functions.

Mechanically cold pressed​

The oil is also mechanically cold pressed to maintain its purity and efficacy, which is derived from a rich level of unsaponifiables and tocotrienol.

As an active the oil is a highly effective weapon against photoaging thanks to three synergistic properties that have been proven through scientific clinical studies.

These properties include the enhancement of sunscreen efficacy for both skin and hair from UV rays, which means it is able to prevent DNA damage while also reducing oxidative stress.
