Rexam launched ten lines of make-up packaging at Beyond Beauty in Paris last week that aim to fulfill the needs of manufacturers in all market arenas.

Serving everything from prestige to mass market, the new make-up range was hailed by the company as one of the industry’s “deepest, widest and most appealing.”

Compacts, lipsticks and mascaras

The line-up of new products includes compacts, lipsticks, and mascaras that are available with a range of designs, features and colors to easily provide manufactures with bespoke packaging.

“Our technological capability enables us to create a variety of looks, for every brand positioning, in every market range,” said Rexam personal care product manager, Pauline Uhlen.

“Rexam is renowned for advances in packaging materials,” added Uhlen. “For example, our high-density plastic is five times as dense as standard plastic, without the bulk. This simplifies manufacturing and improves the end-user experience.”

Launch follows new technical centre

The launch of the new make-up lines comes shortly after Rexam’s personal care division opened of a new technical centre in Burgundy, France.

The facility is divided into two distinct divisions with one dedicated to make-up packaging and the other to dispensing systems.

The make-up division has been developed to provide a complete set of turnkey solutions for manufacturers in this category.

It specialises in the injection of different materials, lacquering, and metallising techniques, capabilities which make it one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the world, Rexam claims.
