Croda showcases extreme heat protection ingredient

Croda spokesperson Cara Eaton told CosmeticsDesign.com that this is one of the highest levels of protection currently available. To demonstrate the heat protection properties and other features of Mirustyle X-HP, Croda has developed Ice Cool Mousse. Hold and protection properties Eaton said that unusually for a heat protection ingredient Mirustyle X-HP may be added to mousse products and therefore provides hold as well as protection. Other benefits of the ingredient highlighted by the company include improved smoothness and protection against reduced hair strength. In addition, Croda claimed Mirustyle X-HP reduces friction between hair strands making combing easier. Other hair care launches Alongside Mirustyle X-HP Croda has developed many hair care ingredients in recent times including several conditioning agents. Taking the clock back to 2005, Croda became the first company to launch an anti-aging ingredient for the hair care market with its Keratec IFP ingredient. It has been incorporated into several hair care formulations now available on the market.
