Leading British and European retailer Tesco is launching a new line
of own-brand skin care products that focuses on the value-for-money
treatment of spots, reports Simon Pitman.

The Skin Deep Cleansing Wash comes in a 150ml tube, and, like all the range, has been dermatologically and clinically tested as being suitable for sensitive skins. It contains an antibacterial agent that helps to unclog pores and purify the skin, with the aim of preventing future break outs.

Skin Deep Cleansing Lotion is a combined cleanser and toner that also contains the antibacterial agent to deep cleanse and tighten up pores in an effort freshen and invigorate the skin. As well as the cleansing lotion, the range also includes two types of facial wipes; one for exfoliating and one deep cleansing.

The exfoliating wipes have been specially created with a textured layer, which is said to provide a gentle exfoliating action. Tesco says this helps to remove dead skin, prevent pores from blocking and helps to maintain a healthier-looking complexion.

The range also includes an oil-free Dual Action Moisturiser, which rebalances oily zones, while treating dry zones. The formulation contains vitamin E, combined with spot-fighting zinc, which both hydrates skin and keeps pores clear. It also contains anti-bacterial agents and anti-shine active ingredients.
