Shiseido's premium skincare line 'Beauty Voltage' is not only an
experience for the skin but for the eye as well, courtesy of BASF's
Variocrom variable colour pigment.

BASF said that the unique two tone effect from red to gold provided by its Variocrom Magic Red K 4411 pigment sought to emphasise the exclusivity of the cosmetics line.

Packaging is a decisive factor of success in cosmetics. Together with Shiseido and a packaging manufacturer, BASF developed the packaging concept.

Not only did Variocrom from BASF meet Shiseido's demand for unique colour effects, the high process stability convinced the packaging manufacturer.

Whether made from polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the spectacular packaging of the skincare line's four different products catches the eye.

Shiseido's 'Beauty Voltage' is sold exclusively in Japan.
