DHC Corporation, one of Japan's leading skincare companies, has
unveiled the launch of its new Acerola Body Gel. The new
cosmeceutical moisturiser is enriched with acerola berry to hydrate
the skin with placental protein and serine.

"The launch of Acerola Body Gel is a natural extension of our very popular acerola product series. It is steeped in botanicals that absorb quickly to help protect skin from dryness," said president of DHC Gary Gauntt.

Acerola, also known as the West Indian or Barbados Cherry, is a dark red fruit which grows in the Caribbean, northern South America, central America and Mexico. It has a high vitamin C content and has a sweet raspberry like flavour.

The new textured gel is claimed to utilise acerola berry's antioxidant properties and the brightening powers of mulberry and acetyl tyrosine to fight the uneven tone that can occur with skin aging.

Acerola Body Gel is available by catalogue or through DHC's Web site at a special introductory price of €12, five euros less than its regular price.

Maker of Deep Cleansing Oil, DHC Corporation, is one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of skincare products, makeup, fragrances, health foods and supplements. Started in Japan over 20 years ago it now has offices worldwide.
