SymDiol® 68 a smart synergistic protectant
Today, cosmetic formulators face an increasingly challenging task to protect formulations and at the same time answering consumers’ desires for less preservatives in cosmetics. SymDiol® 68, a combination of two 1,2-Alkanediols, protects the skin barrier against water loss and at the same time supports the efficacy of the preservative system in a variety of cosmetic formulations.
SymDiol® 68 is another example of Symrise's know-how and expertise in 1,2-alkanediols. We offer 1,2-pentanediol (Hydrolite® 5), 1,2-hexanediol (Hydrolite® 6), 1,2-octanediol (Hydrolite® 8) and 1,2-decanediol (SymClariol®).
