schülke has investigated the influence of sensiva®​ SC 10 on the galenic stability of formulations. This study has been made in cooperation with BCL by using an optical centrifuge. The method allows a rapid identification of physical instabilities of emulsions and helps to better understand the influence of the membrane-active substances.

The results show that not all cosmetic emulsions are sensitive to antimicrobial stabilizers. However, in case of instability or viscosity drop several possibilities of approach are feasible. Please contact us to receive our formulation guidelines for sensiva®​ SC 10.
